Niuean and Cook Island Week

Welcoming in Term 4 - Lockdown Level 3 Return

  Kia-ora and welcome back for Term 4 Not quite the return we were expecting, but we are sure that it won't be long before the class gets the chance to begin our new term in our new class.  Over the last week of Term 3 we relocated our furniture and belongings into the refurbished Room 26, so we are all set for life outside Level 3 Lockdown. However, with the news that we need to continue in Level 3 for a bit longer, you will have seen the latest School Panui advising that the Distance Learning sites are being prepared for next week's return to school.  Our new class site is now Room 26s Learning Site , but is still reached on the same web address. ( https://sites.google.com/ newwindsor.school.nz/ room17slearningsite/home )  We have added a timetable to our page to show when Zoom meetings will be, with  our links having been updated with the new invitation details . As we are delayed in returning to regular class lessons we would like to trial having specific Zoom sessions for

Term 3 ends

 Well done for your Distance Learning this term. You had far more time learning online than in school in Term 3.  Thank you to those of you who regularly zoomed in daily to our class meetings.  Thank your for sharing your learning tasks with us, taking on feedback and even being part of the online lessons for writing and maths. All things going well, when we get the all clear to return to school, we will be in our new classroom.  Mrs Leung and Whaea Lesley have had a few days in already, setting furniture out and moving our things from Room 17 to Room 26.  See you there on our first non-locked down day of learning. Fingers crossed it is not too far away
